The Ohio Business Gateway is a nationally recognized, collaborative initiative of state and local government agencies and an essential part of Ohio's digital government strategy. Gateway services offer Ohio's businesses a time- and money-saving online filing and payment system that helps them maintain a relationship with government agencies.
2. OPPORTUNITY
The Ohio Department of Administrative Services sought to enhance the Ohio Business Gateway portal fora centralized view of business interactions. Partnering with Three-12, they aimed to create a future-state portal that offers detailed data to engage Ohio businesses and improve their understanding of their relationship with the state. Three-12 focused on increasing efficiency with a comprehensive view of business interactions, creating an intuitive user experience. The design process utilized best practices, automation, and artificial intelligence to achieve operational and financial goals.
3. SOLUTION
Three-12 proposed a plan that utilizes an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) to streamline data integration. Our recommendations included enhancing the Ohio Business Gateway to serve as the primary interface for business interactions, providing a comprehensive overview of business data, and creating a journey map for starting and growing a business in Ohio. The proposed design allows for real-time updates on business interactions, notifications about deadlines and events, and improvements based on the Ohio Revised Code and upcoming agency meetings.
4. RESULT
Three-12'sproprietary Red Sea cloud CRM AI concepts provided the foundation for the future-state design. The final design was economical yet exceeded the requirements. With modest investment, the Ohio Business Gateway will be able to reduce the number of logins for business owners by 75%. Three-12 was able to eliminate pains, needs, and identify opportunities for the Ohio Business Gateway to embrace a CRM AI iPaaS solution that allows Ohio business owners to have a comprehensive view of their interactions in a single location to make decisions and transact business easily at the State of Ohio.
